I discovered Twin Flame terminology fairly recently! My twin and I met in the early ‘90’s he always said I was his soulmate, his other half. I definitely believed in soulmates, just somehow never applied it to myself. Then this year a HUGE shift in the energy happened and I found myself wondering what was happening! I could feel my twin, like literally feel him, his emotions, physical sensations, etc..then stared noticing the number patterns…they were getting harder to ignore. I really was thinking that I was legit loosing my marbles, though it helped that I am in contact with my twin and he is just so sure and verified everything I’ve been experiencing! Anyway when I thought I was going crazy I was driven to get a new tarot deck (tarot has always been part of my life) I started doing more readings and was doing research on a particular spread and came across the term Twin Flame on a tarot website, it was so resonant that I couldn’t deny it! I didn’t know until today that there is a Netflix doc!
I will say it has helped to keep a journal documenting all the weirdness and synchronicities. Some are so spooky, it leaves no room for doubt!
I never believed in soulmates and all that ‘jazz’, however I was already in a spiritual path when I stumbled upon a video from Tiktok about TF. Mind you, I wasn’t looking into it or anything—the content I followed was mostly spiritual. It caught my attention, but I didn’t attach the label right away to the connection. I still wasn’t 100% sure that I was dealing with a TF. Something that happened right after that, was I felt a rush of emotions while I was thinking out loud about that term.. I said it out loud, and I was playing Taylor Swift in the car stereo, when at the very exact time I said the term to myself, she said it too in the song. It was surreal. I even freaked out. Btw, the song is “All too well.” To me it was a big synchronicity at the time. However, 3 years into this I’ve come to different conclusions. I think twin flame can be an umbrella term for many types of soul connections, and the reality is no one knows the sole truth about this.. BUT soul connections are REAL and they do feel different, and when they come to your life, they do change you forever. I’m still learning, evolving and unlearning as well. And, most importantly, I learn from all of your experiences, too.
New here. I remember exactly - it was following the night of 11/11/11, when we had an unexpected “soul gluing” (I can write more about that, sometime). I had to look up the date, because we were both so thunderstruck by the unimaginably beautiful thing we had just simultaneously gone through, which is when I found out.
Was that date a popular day for twin flames? I feel isolated in my experience.
