I saw this a long time ago and the bottom left hit the nail on the head. Survivorship bias.
Other than social media trends, when people do find their way to a community like ours they see people talk about all the fantastic parts of the relationship and the connection. A lot of them completely ignore all the talk of the struggle of the journey and the healing that we need to go through.
But then we are left with the survivorship bias that we have twin flames who went through it and try to pay the universe back a bit by helping out others while the ones who don’t really have a twin flame will just move on to the next trend.

My take is the same as Danielle’s. I think everyone has the possibility of having a twin flame, but I don’t believe everyone does.
Maybe if we all did, the world would be a better place, but I think it’s a small minority that is here to do important work with it.
Also in most circles around the world people have never heard the term “twin flame”. Or if they have now, it’s because they’ve heard “twin flames are cults” and it went no further than that.
