Helping to understand the different types of connections is probably the only hope you have of actually spotting the differences between a false twin and the real deal.
With false twins, the separations don’t actually help you grow. Real TF separations are painful, but you come back stronger and more aligned. False twin separations just leave you drained and stuck in the same patterns. Nothing is ever really going to change with them. Pay attention to how you feel energetically around them, too. False twins tend to leave you exhausted, physically depleted. True connections might be intense, but they don’t drain you dry. The energy flows both ways instead of being constantly pulled from you.
Again, I would read those threads. Trying to spot this based on someone else’s list is going to be hard. Work with your own understanding of the connections before all else.
The hardest part is that these connections can still feel SO real in the moment. The passion, the pull, all of it.
