In my experience, the knowing comes and goes like waves on a shore. Sometimes it hits with certainty, other times it pulls back into that quiet doubt where you question everything you thought you understood about the connection.
Today I met up with who I thought for so many years was my tf. We have been writing each other regularly for twelve years. We’ve been coming closer to each other in many ways. When he came to visit a couple of years ago it wasn’t comfortable to connect physicaly. He then pulled back, asked me not to manifest or visualise any more. Well he was trying to manifest his soul mate and last year in November he finally met her. I was very hurt and couldn’t deal with the new situation. Last week I wrote and told him I was going to retreat for a while because I wanted to take care of myself and clear my mind. He wrote back that he thought it unnecessary and I should please reconsider my decission. I suggested to meet again because I wanted to see him and talk to him. Today was the day we met. I was sure I’d feel him again and feel the connection. But there was nothing. No thread, no shared energy. I didn’t feel attracted to him in any way. He was almost like a stranger to me. Could I have been mistaken for all these years? I felt the connection the cord, we had the telepathy and the synchronicities. It was all there. Has anyone experienced the same thing?
You absolutely could have.
… Or the energy is there and it just isn’t that crazy separation energy between you at the moment. Nobody else can really tell you for sure.
If only it was that easy

If your first thought in the morning is them and the last face you see before you close your eyes at night. If you talk to them in your head all day.
If your world exploded when you first met and everything you thought you knew about the universe changed.
Then you might be a twin flame.
Might.
It’s a lot rarer than social media would have you believe.
Never asked. Never questioned. Not once. Timing? That was my fear. Not that he would be back. That he wouldn’t make it on time because there was no way I was going to wait indefinitely. I don’t need him to do anything I am meant to do. I just want him. Big difference.
