For me, it’s more like this sudden jolt of energy that runs through me, usually when I’m trying to move on. We’ve been NC for about 4 months now, and every time I think I’m finally over it, boom, there’s that familiar electric feeling.
The weirdest part is all the synchronicities. I’ll feel that energy surge and then immediately see his car model everywhere, or hear ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay (our song… I should add it to the twin flame songs list) playing in random places. Just last week, I was at the grocery store feeling that pull, and ‘Chasing Cars’ started playing. Another song that always brings me back to him.
The dreams really get me though. When I have those vivid ones where I can feel his presence, I wake up with that same chest sensation you’re describing. Sometimes I even wake up humming 'A Thousand Years’ because it was playing in the dream.
