I think that the journey strips away this idea of success or failure. The materialism, the ego, all that judgment you used to carry around. You end up with this deep empathy and appreciation for the light because you have known the dark. Like, genuinely known it.
A true surrender can’t be focused on this idea of “what if we fail”.
