Twin Flame Films... Beyond Hollywood BS

No movie really nails it. They all seem to focus on the romantic ending, but the real process is about spiritual growth.

Films typically portray twin flames or soulmates as if they’re just love stories, but it’s more about when your soul is ready and the timing is right. That’s why these movies can feel off; they’re pushing a fantasy of control and guaranteed happy endings. It might be better if films showed the transformation aspect first and then the connection, which is closer to how things actually play out.

Hancock.

They’re together in I the past but physically separate because their connection is so strong and one isn’t even aware of it.

Almost getting to that time of year. So… suggestions for twin flame christmas movies?

Serendipity (2001) is a perfect example:

My twin is very into Christmas so I’m setting a Christmas movie lineup for him (he doesn’t get to start until the 10th is the deal) and Love Actually is always first on the list.

I have seen people call this one a twin flame movie before… Personally I’m not even convinced it’s a good romantic movie or even a good Christmas movie but is it just me?

I always thought I was the only person who doesn’t like Love Actually :joy: The only bit I like is when Hugh Grant’s character meets Martine McCutcheon’s for the first time, that’s kinda funny.

  • Serendipity

  • Made in Heaven

  • Elementals

  • The Matrix (especially the last one)

  • Somewhere in time

My twin made me watch both Hancock & Dracula with him.I resonated a lot with The Notebook, The Matrix, a Netflix series called Outlander (I have a soft spot for Scotland), and a Bollywood series about Hindu deities Lord Shiva & Shakti , who are the Original TFS in Hinduism.

Yeah, the transformation part is what films completely skip over. You have to dismantle who you thought you were - that’s what should be on screen.

+1 for Outlander.

@Cassady….the way I stopped scrolling when I came across your recommendation of Stardust and just stared in disbelief. I don’t know my TFs real name, so I call him Stardust as a codename. I’ve seen and heard that word in the weirdest, most random places ever since. It had quietened down for a while, but I’m starting to see it pop up again…a lot. I didn’t even know there was a movie/book with that title. And then to see it mentioned here?:exploding_head:

Still Breathing!

A hidden gem with Brendan Frazier. He sees this gal in a vision and she sees him in her dreams. Some real runner/chaser vibes. A slow-paced, realistic, sweet film of a once-in-a-lifetime romance.

I have two strange picks. First is “The Bridges of Madison County”.

Second is Sex and the City! The show is more realistic about how twin flame connections are in real life! Although Twin flames are fiery! Very magnetic, deep soul-level connections. They are very triggering with the runner-chaser dynamic! Carrie and Mr. Big demonstrate that dynamic so well!

Most of these other shows, like The Notebook, are what soulmate connections look like.
True twin flames trigger spiritual awakening. They mirror each other and challenge everything. They are more for spiritual growth than they are for romantic purposes.

A movie I saw over Valentines weekend with my soulmate was a lasting one for me.

It’s the more modern remake of Wuthering Heights, and it really hits hard!

At one point, one of the main characters even declares:

Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.

It’s not an ending most people expect, but it does drive home the point that even destined connections are subject to the consequences of the each individual’s decisions.

I love how Cinderella was mentioned!!! To me, the story resonates less as the prince, finding the foot that fits his shoe…But more as the dm, finding the soul that aligns perfectly with his…

Where the Crawdads Sing:100: a must-watch if u haven’t seen it, watch it if u are what u think u are u will resonate on every level

“What Dreams May Come.” That is a perfect Twin Flame/Soul Mates movie!!!

No one has mentioned ‘on a clear day’ with Barbra Streisand. It’s about reincarnation and how she falls for her hypnotist. He realises during their sessions they have met in every lifetime. I think it’s the closest to the TF journey especially the twist at the end
