Twin flames have this shared soul vibration thing going on, which creates that magnetic but chaotic push-pull dynamic. Karmic connections are more about highlighting your personal issues. Like those abandonment patterns you mentioned dealing with repeatedly - that sounds more karmic. These partners basically force you to face things you haven’t dealt with yet, instead of it being some mystical soul connection.
