All my life I’ve been someone who’s very good with animals. But now there’s a situation that I find quite strange.
My brother has had a wolfdog (female) for about a year now, and with her it’s really difficult (I do see her like two times a week for one year now). All the other animals I’ve interacted with, long before I even met my twin, have never had any problems with me.
Anyway, my brother’s wolfdog behaves very oddly around me.
When I meet her outside on walks, she notices me first, before the other dog or the people she’s walking with. She spots me from far away and seems genuinely excited, happily coming toward me… but when she’s about a meter away, she suddenly stops and backs off or steps aside.
Inside the apartment it’s even more intense. She doesn’t dare walk past me, even when I’m sitting calmly and completely ignoring her. She also barks at me indoors.
I keep wondering if this could be because:
1. she might be sensing my twin’s energy around me. I sometimes imagine it like she perceives it as if someone were standing right behind me.
or
2. because of the connection and the forced awakening that came with it, my energy might be vibrating at a higher frequency than what she’s used to? I know some humans experience synesthesia, maybe animals perceive energy in a similar way? Perhaps she “sees” my energy differently, like in different colors, and that could be confusing or unsettling for her?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or similar experiences?
Wolfdogs are particularly sensitive to energies. They have these instinctual traits from their wolf side that make them really tuned in to things we can’t see. Reading your post reminded me a lot of how my aunt’s husky reacted when my twin came into my life. Before union energy really kicked in, he would run toward me, stop a little distance away (also around a meter), then pace in a half-circle like he was trying to figure out where to place me in his internal map. I started consciously acknowledging the energetic presence of my twin before I entered the room. I’d literally say in my mind, ‘Okay, we’re going to be around sensitive beings now, let’s soften and ground.’ Over a few weeks, the husky began coming closer, lying down with his back against my leg but his head facing the door, almost like he was watching both me and the unseen energy around me.
Their hesitation feels like a kind of respect, and that took away a lot of the self-consciousness I felt at first.
Your wolfdog might be picking up on that dual energy field around you. Animals are really attuned to energetic shifts, and she could be sensing your twin’s presence overlapping with yours. That would explain why she’s drawn in but then hesitates - like she’s encountering someone unexpected.

Not similar, but a different behavior from my cats than the ordinary… The first time my Twin appeared in my front yard, three of my cats started rubbing themselves on his legs. Usually my cats have to know someone for quite some time to do this. Also some days later, one of my cats went outside, sat on a brick wall near the road, and there was an energy around her like she was waiting for someone. I was anxious because of the near the road situation (even though we live in a very small village with rare traffic) and I kept an eye on her… Suddenly, my Twin arrived unexpectedly in his car and stopped to bring me eggs and say hello… The cat immediately jumped to greet him! I understand then that she sensed him coming and she has been waiting for him. She saw him only once or twice by then , and hasn’t done something similar for anyone else before (only when she hears the music from the fish merchant’s car, but that is because I buy fish and gave her immediately some treats!)
I know exactly how you feel. My backyard has been telling me all kinds of things through the birds, lizards, grasshoppers. I could go on and on but I will just tell you about yesterday. I was wondering if it was okay to fantasize about future days with my twin. It’s those mental mountains that make this even harder than it has to be. So right then I hear a loud clap of thunder and I can’t wait to go look at the clouds. I walk out back and on the flimsiest branch above my pool, crazy low and close are two doves. I prayed they would stay long enough for me to get my phone and thankfully they did. I have lots of pics and videos of many of my signs. So I’m watching them in awe and I see the finest white feather floating down over the pool. The first thing that popped in my head was Forrest Gump. So it’s twirling and floating and lands right at my feet. I bend down to pick it up and when I stand two more are in the pool. That is significant for me because three has been everywhere in my life for a very long time. I showed the pic to ai and no surprise they are downy feathers from a mourning dove. I want to add the day before all the birds were so close. But the doves most of all. I took my puppy out front that day and when I called him to come in he ran to me with a feather in his mouth. A dove feather. I already have three owl feathers but that’s a whole other story. Ive told no one about most of this. Almost all actually. This felt good to share something with people who don’t need an explanation. Thank you.
Maybe, because twinflames love animals…and animals understand love, so they feel comfortable near them… Actually, a DF loves every being, that’s why people also get attracted towards her…her love heals them unconsciously…
