I noticed that when I say “I love you (twin’s name)” to myself randomly, it results in an instant energy jolt through my body most of the time. It varies in intensity and occasionally doesn’t happen at all, but I tried an experiment: saying “I love you (other ex’s name)” instead. Nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?

It happens with me almost all the time. I tried randomly saying, ‘I love you (twin flame’s name)’ and felt the same energy jolt through me.
And I doesn’t even have to that specific sentence that declared my love for him. Anything. Absolutely anything that make me say his name gives me jolts and my heart goes on edge. It’s his name, I guess.
Everytime I take his name in my mind, I feel it. Deeply. Everything I say it aloud like while having a conversation about him, it makes all my sense go on alert mode and I feel tingles. It feels like I have done something huge and great while all I did was to pronounce his name.

Just saying or even thinking his name triggers something in my chest, like a sudden pressure or ache right in the heart chakra area. Almost like my heart is being squeezed. My whole chest tightens and I can feel the energy radiating outward through my arms and into my fingertips.

I totally get this too. And anytime someone else says his name (which obviously takes me by surprise more than saying it myself) I get the same thing. This jolt of energy, alertness, love… like my soul snaps to attention every time.

My twin has a common name so there’s quite a few at my company but it’s like I hone in on people at the other side of the office saying it. Like I’ll be sitting at my desk and someone over the other side is talking about something and all I hear is his name. I’ll need to pay attention to any jolts of energy.

When this happens I usually see 11:11 or 222 right after. Like confirmation.

I’ll be deep in work mode, fine. Then out of nowhere this wave of anxiety just hits me, and suddenly he’s right there in my thoughts. No warning.
I saw your post just as I was feeling this exact thing.
If a feeling hits you out of nowhere, like truly from nowhere, that’s probably his energy, not yours. It can be disorienting when his emotions just flood in like that.
