To be honest, I think if most people just use the term “twin flame” and have a happy relationship with a soulmate, that is perfectly fine. As long as they’re not trying to give people on the TF journey actual advice about it afterward. They’re not getting some kind of runner up twin flame prize, they’re just on a different path than we are. A different soul contract.
Vedantic teachings tell us that the soul has a unique vibrational signature that remains constant across lifetimes, like a spiritual fingerprint. When you meet your actual twin flame, that recognition happens at such a deep energetic level that your entire being knows there’s no one else with that exact matching frequency.
That’s why people who’ve met their twin describe it as different from every other connection - even other intense spiritual connections. The resonance is literally unique. You can have multiple soul contracts with incredibly important people in your life, and those connections can be life-changing and deeply spiritual. But that specific mirroring frequency? That only happens once.
I think when people claim multiples, they’re feeling the intensity of various soul contracts and assuming that intensity = twin flame, when really they’re just experiencing different connections and it really isn’t easy to tell what is what. It isn’t until you know you’ve felt the real thing that everything else seems hollow.
