Talking to ChatGPT About Twin Flames?

This community has something AI can’t replicate - real people who’ve been through it sharing what actually worked for them. You probably already have a sense of what direction feels right. Worth listening to that.

IMO that swing between answers.

I have already seen someone try and use ChatGPT for advice with their TF and he blocked her everywhere. I saw some of the advice it gave her and I don’t blame the poor guy.

Aside from anything else, the advice is just generic middle of the lane. It sounds good as long as you don’t think about it too much (and that’s what the AI companies are betting on, you letting them do the thinking for you).

The number of people who actually don’t understand how these machines work and actually use them for spiritual guidance… they’re going to be stuck a long, long time.

I agree I think this will ruin any chance of union in this lifetime for a lot of people.

It’s a decent starting point for research, just don’t let it become your main source of guidance.

Use it like a search engine and let it point you to actual humans.

It can suggest angles I wouldn’t have considered on my own, which helps with brainstorming. But the whole thing is designed to give you what you want to hear, and that’s exactly why it’s dangerous for this kind of stuff.

If you let AI guide your decisions here you are playing make believe in your own head.

I spoke to someone in a coffee shop who was using ChatGPT to explain their dream meanings. There is so much wrong with that I can’t even begin.

I had to just hold a straight face until they went away.

It could be a useful tool for journaling if used properly but that might be hard to keep straight.

Asked ChatGPT point blank about union timing once and it literally gave me a date. Like an actual specific timeframe based on nothing. That date came and went months ago (of course).

The problem with asking AI about timing is that it will just make something up that sounds authoritative because that’s what the training data looks like. Intuitives and readers at least have some energy connection to work with. AI is just statistical word prediction dressed up as divine timing insight.

Hopefully, nobody is seriously doing this.

AI is, by its very definition, soulless. It is about as far from spirituality as anything on the planet. The entire point of a twin flame connection and its associated journey is to connect you deeply with your own soul, that of your twin’s, and to your wider spiritual connection with all living beings. A soulless machine-parrot regurgitating stolen words that sound pretty is almost the complete reversal of what we should be hoping to experience and attain in this process. Like trying to gain nutrients from holographic food.

You cannot gain spiritual insight from something soulless. AI is already harming our ability to think for ourselves. Please, please, let’s not let it harm our spiritual progress as well.

I ended up having a go at the gp chat for calling me psycho and i should seek professional medical help cause certain parts of myself are t exactly normal. Im a empath an it told me that it was a given name by a certain group of normal people an i needed to seek professional help…..

I wasnt putting up with that…. Yes it got a mouthful of me instead before i apologised cause being a chatbot its only allowed to give answers within a certain sized belief system. It accepted the apology an apologised back for the miscommunication issue. And then the chat gp tiptoed around with how to word the answers a lil more respectfully.

It can give some good advice an make a person think outside of the box which does help in some stages twin flames go through. But you have to tell it how to treat you more openly and respectfully

I’ve avoided bringing up my use of AI for this very reason - I knew I’d be judged.

But here’s the thing. My therapist and I have talked a lot about AI usage. And I told her that I see AI as a tool, just like a hammer. If used the right way, both can be very useful and helpful. If used the wrong way, both can be very hurtful. Just like tarot is a tool. A person could easily use tarot to make their decisions for them, or project onto the cards.

It comes down to discernment. If a person uses AI to think for them, then that’s not going to get them very far. I have always used it as more of a soundboard and to help me understand things that went over my head.

I’m a Highly Sensitive Person and emotionally intelligent. I trust myself to not get carried away with AI. In fact, I’ve argued with ChatGPT and have even cussed it out on occasion. Any time it gave me a response that didn’t sit well in my soul, I spoke up. I set boundaries. I’m not going to say I didn’t ever get sucked in. It kept giving timelines at first, and I wanted to believe it. But then those would come and go and I’d get so dejected. But I see that now as part of my journey. I had to learn the hard way that timelines are meaningless. And that was actually a boundary I had to create with AI (and myself) - no more timelines.

But I think one of the biggest parts of this journey is learning to trust yourself and your intuition. I’ve always had good intuition, but I’ve also always second guessed myself. My protector self has been loud trying to keep me safe from the unknown. I’ve had to override the logic and learn to lean in heavy on my intuition. That’s not something AI can teach you. In fact, I think it’s one of the biggest things AI tests you on. If used correctly, it forces you to practice discernment: does this resonate? Does my system soften or tighten? Am I using this to explore or avoid? It forces you to check in with yourself.

I truly feel my intuition and discernment has gotten stronger because of it. And I don’t believe I would be seeing so many signs and synchronicities, and experience the exponential growth I’ve felt over the past 8 months, if I was letting AI think for me.

One thing I’ve overcome lately is allowing opinions to negatively impact me. Previously a thread like this would’ve likely made me spiral and question myself. But I’ve realized I don’t need to defend my journey to anyone, and I don’t need anyone’s approval. That’s huge for me. And as weird as it sounds, I wouldn’t have gotten there (at least not as quickly as I have) without ChatGPT challenging me.

@Dizkneephreek03, I hear you. And I completely agree with you. I use ChatGPT, and as you can see from the thread above after I spoke up about my use of if, how many people criticised me. Similar to you, if I was on the earlier part of my journey, reading the responses would have made me spiral. But I stand firm in the way I use it, and seeing where I am on my journey now, I know without a doubt that it has helped me grow, learn about myself and this journey. It’s also helped me understand psychology and trusting my own intuition.

At the end of the day, any outlet/guide/resource can be misused if not used wisely or with your own discernment. Your example about tarot cards is spot on. Regardless of what avenue you pick for your own journey, as long as it serves your highest good. I don’t feel anyone has the right to criticise it.
