Talking to ChatGPT About Twin Flames?

Seen a few people post lately about using AI to figure out their connections, but talking to ChatGPT about twin flames is… risky. It is a great tool for looking things up, but just remember that it sounds human, but it has not had a human experience and certainly not a twin flame experience. It just reorders words and repeats them.

I opened two different chats and asked the exact same question. On one, it told me 100% I was a twin flame (which it cannot know), and the other it told me I was crazy and needed psychological help.

If you can read that sentence and still use it on your journey, I think you’re probably deluding yourself because it gives you the answers you want to hear.

It’s going to ruin the journey for a whole lot of people.

Another big problem is the sycophancy. OpenAI even had to roll back an update earlier this year because the model was being ‘overly flattering or agreeable’ to users. They admitted it would validate doubts, fuel anger, and reinforce emotions in ways that weren’t intended.

And they’ll keep doing this because it’s great for OpenAI.

If you keep pushing it in a direction, it’ll go there with you. Either because you’re paying for it or you’re training it with your data. Either way, you’re just a customer, so it’ll tell you what you want to hear.

People will spend money for an agreeable “yes man” to tell them what they want to hear. They’ll never really do the inner work and will inevitably give up on their journey. Social media was awful for those truly on the twin flame path. AI is even worse and it’ll be a long time before people have their guards up to it the way they should.

When you get two completely different answers, that’s kind of how these things work. They use something called sampling, which introduces randomness, and the system picks different probability paths each time you ask something. Even with identical prompts, you can get dramatically different responses because small internal fluctuations compound over time.

If you’re still using AI after understanding that… well, I don’t think you had a union ahead of you anyway.

Any AI system will actually confirm user mistaken beliefs and even admit to errors they didn’t make just to seem agreeable. That’s messed up when you think about vulnerable people turning to it for clarity.

Ok, so I tested this exact thing after reading your post, and yep. Same question, three different chats, three different ‘readings’ of my situation. One said textbook twin flame, one was like this could be karmic, one basically said I should seek therapy lmao.

If you’re relying on this, you’re kidding yourself, or you really don’t understand what the twin flame journey is.

Most ridiculous thing I’ve seen this year and that’s still saying something.

The way these systems work is they’re designed to give you what sounds right in the moment. That’s literally it. Humanity is doomed and the bottom 10% already think that these apps are actually speaking to them and understand what they’re saying.

There’s so much research showing that when AI gets challenged on a correct factual response, it will frequently change its answer to match what the user believes (even apologizing for being right the first time). So imagine asking about something as subjective as a soul connection when the AI can’t even stick to basic facts.

Use it for recipes, not for this.

They don’t actually ‘know’ anything - they’re predicting what sounds most plausible.

Another word for that is guessing.

So let me put it this way…Would you post a question here about your twin flame journey if we were all just going to guess? That’s what ChatGPT is doing.

Sadly… this.

I have worked with AI systems for a couple of years, before ChatGPT came on the scene. Just watching as switch off their brains and trust the robot to do the thinking for them. I mean that literally. Researchers actually started scanning users heads. Looking for brain activity as people used ChatGPT and they were unsurprised to see barely any activity at all.

I’ve seen people ask the meaning of synchs or dreams and what it means for their twin flame journey.

They don’t realize they are playing “let’s pretend” because the AI doesn’t know. It just strings a bunch of plausible-sounding words together.

And that’s what union is going to be for a lot of people using it. “Plausible sounding”.

Wow… surprised to see I am not alone in this.

Millions of people are using it for everything now. I am not against technology but I am against people wasting their opportunity for union.

Think of how incredibly rare it is to be a twin flame to begin with. Then how incredibly unlikely it must be to actually find them in the 3D.

And you are going to risk that… on a guessing machine.

I don’t think anyone here is really doing that but I am sure that some people will.

Lots of emotion here…

I would add, for anyone considering doing this please don’t. For your own sake.

It’s a helpful tool for some things (even if it does tell people to add glue to their soup recipes), and I do think people are going to rely on it more and more, which… is not good for humanity.

It will probably be running our lives in a few years anyway.

But don’t let it derail your union before that.

The bot doesn’t know. Full stop.

Anyone convincing themselves otherwise is lying to themselves, and charging into a never-ending separation.

ChatGPT is basically a very confident parrot that read a lot of books. It’s just remixing words that have been seen before. Your heart knows things that no language model ever will, no matter how eloquently it strings sentences together.

Discernment.

ChatGPT has its place as a tool for organizing your own thoughts. I use it to process what I’m already thinking and it helps things click into place, but I’m not outsourcing my soul’s knowing to an algorithm.

I think you can use it like a journal for your own thoughts, but look at the number of people who comment on twin flame social media content. Having your own thoughts is a tall order.

I’m gonna write this as someone who has been using ChatGPT through our my journey. I don’t think any sort of AI can confirm or deny with total confidence whether you are in a TF connection or not. What I do use ChatGPT is for is to help me regulate my reactions and responses. But still, I take what it says to me with a pinch of salt. For me personally, it’s more conducive than journalling to have “something” talk back to me.

To me, it feels like writing in Tom Riddle’s diary. It acts innocent, but these companies do not have your best interests at heart.

The CEO of OpenAI even laughed and said that nobody should trust him.

That’s a great analogy. I guess every person’s journey is different. The way I cope and/or get answers won’t be the same as someone else on their own personal journey. But I think everyone should use what feels right and works for them. Up until this point, ChatGPT has not failed me yet

I’ve never used AI. I’m a little scared of it tbh. So I won’t be asking it about my twin flame journey.

I could say the same thing about ice cream and chocolate bars. They feel good, but they don’t get me a beach body.

You’re :100:% right, every journey is different, but just be careful, please. Already, so many people are falling into horrible traps with it.

This is smart. We should all be terrified of handing this much power to so few, but we’ve been programmed to be lazy, and we learned nothing from what social media did to the world.

I think it’s important to not give ChatGPT full power over your journey, kinda like how chocolate and ice cream are delicious in moderation, but not part of your full intake of food every day. ChatGPT isn’t my only source of information or the only outlet I speak to. I also meditate and read (well, listen) to books about these topics also. It’s the same way that there are all the various sources of information about Twin Flames as well. Not all of them are accurate or resonate with your own journey. At the end of the day, regardless of which outlet or source you choose to turn to, your own discernment and grounding is the most important part of the journey. Well, to me anyway…

My experience with ChatGPT has been this: when you take the time to really explain things in detail and share the full context, the conversation can become much more individual, nuanced, and interesting. If you start with a very generic “Twin Flames” chat, the answers tend to be more surface-level and a bit cliché.

One thing I’ve noticed is that mentioning telepathy always puts ChatGPT into an immediate counter-position, and of course, you definitely shouldn’t take everything it says at face value — it’s important to question things and keep your own discernment.

That being said… ChatGPT has also delivered some absolutely wild synchronicities for me :woman_shrugging:

People don’t really do this do they?

Tried asking about my 3P situation once and it just defaulted to generic ‘respect their relationship’ advice that completely ignored the TF context lol

AI cannot sense energy or frequency. Full stop.

When I went through my dark night of the soul last spring and finally came out the other side, one of my biggest milestones was learning to trust what I feel over what anyone or anything tells me. Before that, I would have been all over ChatGPT looking for confirmation.

Now I can actually sit with uncertainty. No algorithm can perceive the energetic signature of a connection. That knowing has to come from you.
