Twin flames don’t mix well with the modern world right now.
I think all this technology and all these distractions are pulling us further and further from any kind of spiritual growth. It’s probably making it harder and harder for anyone to actually focus on the right stuff. We talk about “doing the work” but how many people are just scrolling Instagram or TikTok instead?
I think it’s never been easier to find guidance and communities like this… but it’s also never been easier to be so distracted.
Anyone else feel that? Or am I out here alone…

Scary how easy it is to convince yourself you’re doing the spiritual work when you’re really just consuming content about it. Consuming isn’t the same as doing.

This is something my healer brought up in our last session. She said the biggest issue she sees is people outsourcing their intuition to AI and TikTok instead of sitting with their own gut feeling. Journaling and meditation are way more useful ways to spend your time.

Yeah, I don’t think social media helps for example. I was checking his socials multiple times a day. Every single time my nervous system would spike, and whatever progress I’d made in meditation that morning was gone. The scrolling was a coping mechanism to avoid sitting with the ache of separation. That’s all it was.

This makes me think about how my grandmother used to talk about her love for my grandfather. She’d sit on the porch for hours just thinking about him when he was away at work. No distractions, just presence and longing.
I wonder if part of why our generation struggles so much with the runner/chaser dynamic is that we’ve forgotten how to sit quietly with someone’s absence and let it transform us. It might take a more radical unplugging than most of us are ready for to reclaim that slower kind of devotion in a world built on immediacy.
I’ve been leaving my phone in another room during morning coffee lately, and even that small thing has brought back a softness I didn’t realize I’d lost.

The static is the filter. The frequency we’re being asked to hold as twins is directly opposed to whatever most tech is broadcasting out there.
The modern world is showing which twins are willing to unplug enough to actually feel something, to sit in the quiet. Most won’t.

OMG yes just as dating apps have completely warped how people meet. We used to find each other through pure timing and now we’re swiping past our person because their photo lighting was off. Entire connections might be getting skipped over because of a bad bio.

The ‘people are disposable’ mentality from dating apps and porn culture is killing genuine connection. I don’t know if it affects TFs but it definitely has an effect on everyone else. Everyone’s learned to fake personalities just to get what they want. It feels completely transactional.
Call me a conspiracy nut if you want to but I believe the dating market, and the entire culture associated with bonding to be precise, has been manipulated externally by malevolent forces. The purpose is simple-muddy the water not only for Twin Flames, but for genuine heart connections so much that they all cease. And there is a plan behind that-divide and conquer. in this case-the human psyche. All that anxiety and overstimulation of the senses while all the main actors on the dating market offer only shallow to non-existent connection is here to dumb down the population and to prevent one of the most powerful forces (if not the most powerful one) keeping people away from mind control-that of pure love-from acting against the atomization of people and the lost of social cohesion.
I’m on the mind that if not only the Twin Flames, but the soulmates and all the other connections based on true love, or merely real understanding, among people were to be left to flourish the levels of control that the elites would love to impose upon us would be impossible and people would find so much strength in the bonds among each other that the society will break free of the bonds by those very same nefarious elites. That is why Twin Flames don’t feel they belong in this modern world-it’s just not the place designed for them. On the contrary, the role of Twin Flames is to break and change the rule for the benefit of all and they are generating the counterreaction for that that is keeping them separate. At least, for now…
