Who is Pisces twin flame?

I keep hearing that water signs make intense twin flame connections, but I’m struggling to figure out who is Pisces twin flame match zodiac-wise?

My Pisces twin seems to mirror my emotions so intensely that sometimes I can’t tell if it’s the soul recognition or just their natural empathic nature creating this overwhelming energy between us. Has anyone else noticed that Pisces twins tend to ghost more during the separation phase because they absorb all the push-pull energy?

My Twin is a Pisces, and I am a Scorpio. Both of us are water signs. I have met a friend via the forum whose Twin is also a Pisces, and we have shared with each other how both our Pisces Twins share such similar traits, especially how they ghost when things feel too intense for their sensitive nature.

My Twin and I are in separation now, but he just dropped off the face of the earth with no explanation. I wish I could say that he told me to leave or told me it’s over; perhaps that closure might have made this silence easier to deal with. But we had a very warm exchange over Christmas and suddenly. He just disappeared. We haven’t spoken in 10 months

Pisces already picks up everyone’s energy anyway, so they tend to have it harder with separation and confusing mirroring. So a Pisces twin is often drowning in emotions more than twins normally do.

From what I’ve seen with Pisces twins, Cancer tends to be the most common match. It doesn’t have to be, and you can have a twin with any sign, but this is just my experience.

Both water signs. Both feel everything, but Cancer brings some lunar grounding that helps. Scorpio creates the most intense transformation but also the most chaos. And Pisces-Pisces is just a flow of downloads, finishing each other’s dreams, let alone sentences.

Ghosting during separation is very Pisces behavior, but it’s not really about absorbing the push-pull energy the way you’re thinking. They disappear because they’re feeling both people’s pain at once and it can be too much. They’re not trying to hurt you; they’re trying to stop themselves from drowning. Pisces processes differently than other signs - they need to go deep into their inner world to sort through what emotions are actually theirs versus what they’ve absorbed from you.

Knowing their sign can help understand some behaviors and patterns, but I don’t think a star sign can confirm whether they are your twin or not. And trying to find your twin by star sign is a recipe to find yourself with a karmic.

Water signs don’t make better twin flames, but they can make messier ones. The depth is real, but so is the dysfunction if both (including chasers) people aren’t doing their work.

Pisces has the strongest psychic abilities of the water signs, which is why the telepathic downloads happen so fast after the first meeting. But that’s also why they struggle the most with boundaries. Signs like Cancer or Scorpio at least have some self-protective instincts here (Cancer retreats to their shell and Scorpio has that hard exterior). Pisces just absorbs everything and calls it love.

Not a good or bad thing, really, but it can definitely show up in your separation stages.

Pisces can be both the runner AND the chaser depending on where they are in their healing. I’ve watched Pisces twins flip between these roles in the same relationship.

You’ll see them pursue hard, then the second things get real they vanish for three weeks. Come back acting like nothing happened. It’s not manipulation, it’s genuinely how their nervous system responds to intimacy when they’re triggered.

Neptunian energy they carry means they are natural conduits for emotion. Theirs and yours. They absorb and reflect so much that the lines get blurred. There’s a strong pattern with water and earth signs. Other water signs like Cancer and Scorpio often create an immediate, deeply intuitive bond with Pisces. They have a shared language of emotion.

But don’t overlook earth signs (like Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn). They offer a grounding force that a dreamy Pisces often needs. Earth sign provides stability and a container for the vast ocean of Pisces’ emotions, while Pisces helps the earth sign connect to their spiritual, creative side. A complementary dynamic like yin and yang which is great for the kind of intense growth that union needs.

My Pisces twin ghosted me for six months and then showed up like “I needed space to process” - no explanation, no apology. Apparently, they felt guilty about how things ended, and avoiding me was easier than having the conversation. Classic Pisces conflict avoidance.

But I don’t see them as my twin because they are a Pisces. Just a pattern with them.

I think the Scorpio-Pisces combination is particularly vulnerable to this pattern. Scorpio creates the most intense transformation with Pisces. Ten months is a long time to sit in that silence, and I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. Hope you’re doing what it takes.

But honestly, you’re onto something with the earth sign dynamic. My Pisces twin is with a Virgo (me), and while I’d like to think I’m this grounding, stabilizing force… but sometimes I feel like their emotions just spill over. I do think you are right, but it’s also exhausting when you’re the earth sign trying to hold space for someone who processes emotions in five dimensions at once.

Thank you. I feel this connection to the depths of my soul. Meditation helps a lot, and journaling. I just wish that he would have said goodbye.

The thing about Pisces absorbing the push-pull energy is they’re not really “absorbing” it the way you mean.

They’re feeling their own pain and your pain because that’s what empaths do. During separation, it doubles the intensity and yeah, disappearing makes sense from their perspective, even though it hurts the other person, but they don’t mean it to. They literally can’t tell where their emotions end and yours begin.

In my meditations, I kept getting this vision of Pisces energy as this vast ocean that absorbs everything around it - every emotion, every tension, every bit of that runner-chaser dynamic. When Pisces twins disappear during separation, they’re retreating from an overwhelming reality that’s become too dense, too heavy with all the emotional frequencies they’ve absorbed.

Pisces doesn’t distinguish between ‘your pain’ and ‘their pain’ and ‘the collective pain’ and ‘the twin flame pain.’ It all becomes this massive wave they’re drowning in. So they vanish into their inner world, pure survival mode. They’re escaping an entire reality that’s become unbearable, and we’re part of that reality in those moments.

The tricky part is that their empathic nature makes the initial connection feel SO big and soul-deep that when they ghost, it feels like a complete betrayal of that recognition. In my dreamwork, I kept seeing that they need to retreat into their spiritual field to process what their human vessel can’t handle in the 3D.

With Pisces twins, you have to honor their need to dissolve back into the etheric sometimes. They’ll resurface when they’ve transmuted all that heavy energy. Or maybe they won’t and you’re just left waiting.

A Pisces is an emotional sponge, absorbing all of it. Pain, fear and longing. No matter the runner or chaser, they feel things more than anyone else is going. It becomes an overwhelming internal tsunami for them.

I’m dealing with a Pisces runner right now and the biggest lesson has been learning that their emotions aren’t mine to carry.

Thank you, everyone. I’ve been learning a lot and taking a course on astrology now. Found this on Pisces TFs and also learning to just release that a bit as well. I think all of these things are probably just small parts of the puzzle.

Maybe one day we’ll get to see it all from the higher levels and it’ll seem funny that we’re trying to pick it apart like this :star_and_crescent:
