If separation wasn’t already hard enough, you also get this typical Virgo shit now thrown into it. I can see how they even try to fight against it but here we are.

Oh, I feel this so much. To be clear, every combination is going to struggle with separation, and I don’t think anyone has it easy (kind of the point), but Virgos in separation have their brain working overtime against them more than most. Mercury rules them, so they’re constantly picking apart everything. E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Every word you said, every text, every moment, trying to make it make sense logically (hah). But twin flame connections don’t work that way and they just can’t cope with it.
There’s no different answer. The journey still has the same process.
Venus falls in Virgo astrologically, which speaks to feeling unworthy of love. So while you’re sitting there in separation, missing them, they’re probably tearing themselves apart, wondering if they even deserve the connection. It’s painful for both the runner and chaser. But once they finally stop fighting it, that loyalty is unmatched. They just have to get there on their own timeline.

The criticism side of it is exhausting but they do it way worse to themselves. They will spiral over tiny mistakes they make that nobody else would notice, then that same energy would spill over telepathically.
They need calm logical communication. Anything too emotional and they just withdraw. Like completely. Not because they don’t care, but because their system can’t process intensity in real time. They’re basically super-empaths picking up every little energy shift, and the twin flame connection is just… a lot.
If the twin flame journey wasn’t hard enough, now we need to use logic and reason? 
Let them analyze. Let them process. Don’t push for emotional conversations over text. In person works way better. And watch for how they show love because it won’t be words. It’ll be remembering something small you mentioned months ago and acting on it. Acts of service are their whole language. The devotion is there, it just looks different than what we expect.

The runner behavior with Virgos comes from this specific thing where they literally cannot process what they cannot analyze. They can’t put the connection into any box that they understand. There’s no instruction manual. That drives them up the wall. So they test. They create distance. They try to keep things casual because going deeper means admitting something exists that their logical brain can’t explain. They might bring up exes randomly or pick small fights. It’s all testing to see if you’ll stay, while simultaneously trying to convince themselves they don’t need you to.
Every runner does this to various degrees but I think Virgos struggle with it the most.
Spiritually though, Virgos are actually considered deeply connected to higher realms despite the practical reputation. The whole Hermes messenger of the gods thing. Once they stop trying to think their way through the connection and just… surrender to it… All that analytical power that was fighting the bond starts working FOR it instead.
Just remember when you see them fighting against it, it just means they feel it. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t need to fight. The resistance is the evidence. Painful as hell to experience from your side though, I know.

The thing with Virgos is they show love through acts of service. The small everyday stuff, taking care of practical needs, keeping things stable. But during separation, they have nowhere to put all that energy. They’re wired to show affection by doing things for their person and suddenly… they can’t.
Also, Virgos genuinely believe everything should have its place and make sense. Twin flame stuff is messy and doesn’t fit into any box. So you have this person who’s great at analysis just… spiraling because none of this follows the rules they’re used to.

Their brains don’t turn off. In twin flame stuff this shows up as them focusing on healing and self-improvement while also being overly critical and overthinking everything. So you’ve got someone who knows (on some level) the connection is real but is also running mental loops about every possible thing that could go wrong.
The funny part is they’re supposedly powerful healers and super intuitive, like they pick up on the smallest energy shifts, but then they retreat into loner mode to protect themselves. So they feel everything intensely and then go analyze it in a spreadsheet or something lol. Not a Virgo situation here but I feel you on the sign dynamics making things complicated. Different energy but the astrology stuff definitely adds another layer to deal with.
My TF is actually the Virgo in our dynamic, I’m a Libra. I don’t think I could have made it through all of this without my spirit guides. They’ve really been helping me through this process.
Virgo here and yeah, this connects. My whole life has been about logic, thinking through emotions instead of feeling them, planning for every outcome, doing all the ‘right’ things. Looked successful on paper but not exactly fulfilling. Then my awakening and all of this is the opposite of everything logical. Completely transformed everything. Broke everything I should say. But my Virgo brain won’t stop analyzing every tiny detail. Every. Single. One. I want this so badly that I hold on way too tight, even while a voice in my head is screaming that clinging is exactly what I shouldn’t do.
I’ve been stripped down to who I really am at my core. Turns out I never actually did the inner work, just covered it up. I knew even before learning about twin flames that I needed to do serious soul work on myself. But knowing that and actually focusing on it are two different things when all I want to think about is them. And because I’m a Virgo, I research everything. So I know most twin flames face really hard growth periods. Which means I’m constantly dreading separation while simultaneously telling myself to stop dreading it because surrender is supposedly key. Then I spiral even harder because I’m doing the exact thing I know not to do.
Classic Virgo trap - we mess up, recognize we’re messing up, try to logic our way out, fail, and then beat ourselves up about it.
The loyalty and determination to work through anything is real. I’ll put in whatever time it takes. It does get complicated when your twin isn’t as analytical as you are. Would love to hear from other Virgos dealing with this.

Not a Virgo situation here, but I get the sign-specific struggles. I’m a Sag doing the chasing while my twin is textbook Gemini energy, running like it’s an Olympic sport. Different signs, same exhausting dance though.
Virgo here with a Gemini TF. It’s been a complete emotional whirlwind on my end. Feelings I’m really not used to dealing with at all. I’ve played both roles too, done my fair share of chasing and running away. Currently in separation phase myself.

So I’m a Virgo and my twin flame is an Aquarius. I can pick up on his emotions and thoughts in this really intense way. Weirdly he acts way more Virgo than I do, and I’ve got all these Aquarian traits. The whole thing is honestly such a mess lol
