I’ve noticed my own appearance started to resemble my twin’s but has anyone noticed their twin sometimes just looks like a different person? I’ve seen this mentioned elsewhere in terms of glimpsing them from past lives or energetic changes etc and wondered if anyone here had experienced this?
I remember sitting at lunch with my twin and we were gazing and smiling at each other across the table and he was just radiating love and suddenly I thought, didn’t his hair used to be lighter?! Because when we first met I thought it was a sandy colour but now it was dark? Not dyed either. And his face was fuller too. The “other” him seemed more meek and serious while this one was a bit more immature and boyish. Its like seeing different aspects of him.
Not sure if I’m making sense. It’s definitely the same guy. The energy is the same, his eyes and smile are the same. Voice is the same. He’s been with others from his team. But he looks a bit different. And then I wonder if he sees me differently too? Anyone else experienced this?
Yes! The first time I saw his eyes they were a light honey colour, and now theyre a darker brown. Most of his photos he looks like an entirely different person to me in each one, and sometimes ill get a flash of him where he just looks like a different person. It’s really odd lol glad to know it’s not just me
This is so weird… I thought it was just the fact that he has an interesting face or something… but yes, I have absolutely noticed this too. I haven’t seen colour changes in hair or eyes, or anything so specific, but although I know exactly what he looks like and can always recognise him, he does look different in different photos and his face does subtly change in ways I don’t recall happening with anyone else in my life. It’s sometimes hard for me to conjure up a clear image of his face, which isn’t something I’ve ever noticed with other people.
Is this something to do with the fact that we’re more closely connected with their energy signatures than their physical selves? So the physicality doesn’t register on the same level of intensity and is somehow muted in our perceptions?
It’s very strange… also oddly glad to know it’s not just me! This journey is so nuts.
Bingo! There’s your explanation! The energy of joy, happiness and love has a very vitalic and invigorating effect. I woudn’t be surprized if it acted as a revitalizing force, reducing the visual effects of your twin flame’s appearence typically associated with aging.
Note to self: I wonder if this energy can be used to “repair” my own twin flame’s DNA regeneration.
I read about this a couple of years ago. I don’t think it is common, but there were a few people talking about the concept of physical mirroring… not just energetic mirroring. You also see emotional mirroring over time as well. If the mirroring works both ways (and it does), he’s probably experiencing his own version of this with you.
Twin flames can trigger physical changes in each other. I do agree I remember reading about it a while ago so it does happen but is rare.
Some twins look younger during certain phases, or notice little shifts in features. Hair and eye color is probably the most talked about but maybe only because they would be the easiest to notice. The energetic exchange between TFs is so intense that it can influence how you perceive each other, and it can even influence actual physical appearance over time. I think that’s important. If this is a short-term thing, then it is more likely that your perception has changed. Third eye opening, heightened intuition, seeing beyond the physical. All tracks.
The closer you get to union, the more similar twins can appear - posture, expressions, even small physical traits start aligning. Seems to follow pretty well with the Kundalini Awakening aspect.
What you said about him seeming like different aspects, meek/serious vs immature/boyish, could be past-life bleedthrough. Those can overlay onto your current perception of them.
My grandmother always said happiness changes your whole face, and I really think that’s true. Since my spiritual awakening started, I’ve lost weight, developed cheekbones and dimples, and my skin and hair have completely transformed.
We don’t look alike exactly, but it’s funny how he has the light eyes and freckles I’ve always wished I had. Sometimes I wonder if the connection draws out certain physical traits we’re meant to notice in each other.
@BlackCat22 my twin’s eyes look black sometimes but I realised it was because his pupils were so dilated.
@Ammonite yes I’ve seen a few pics of my twin and he does look different but not sure if that’s because one of them was a posed non smiling pic for work and in the others he was more animated- *cough*drunk- and smiling. Yeah I struggle during guided meditations when I’m told to visualise my twin, I can’t quite get there. Yes it might be the energy/soul taking precedence over physical appearance. Well we have the same awkwardness and walk I noticed. Maybe both got ADHD.

@SpeechlessLove it’s so wild and trippy! I thought people would tell me I must be imagining things. This journey is so incredible. Yes I’m undergoing a spiritual awakening so it could be something to do with that. The past life stuff fascinates me too.

I can’t remember where I read it but someone said that physical changes were one of the reunion signs. Whether it is actual physical change or just our perception changing.
Yes I wasn’t sure if it was just my perception and the way I was seeing him that was different. But if your friend noticed the change too that’s pretty huge!
I noticed something similar but from a different angle. After I married my karmic partner, the next time I ran into my twin, his whole face had changed. He looked heavier, older, like life had drained from him. The active person I knew was buried under so much pain. I’ll never forget that moment.
My spouse has never once noticed any subtle changes in my appearance the way my twin always did. That kind of soul-level seeing goes both ways and I threw it away for ‘stability.’
Yes, this makes total sense to me. With my twin, I’ve literally watched his jawline seem sharper one day and softer the next. After a huge heart-opening conversation, his eyes looked a different shade of green, like someone had turned the saturation up. When we’re in a very playful, boyish energy together, he suddenly looks younger and more carefree. When we’re processing old pain, he looks older and more serious, like another lifetime is on his face.
It’s crazy all these changes. I wonder if my twin will look different when I see him next. @InnerJoy did your twin’s face change again after that or stay the same?
There’s this idea from a blind French resistance fighter that we remember the faces of people we dislike in sharp detail, but the ones we love most blur into something less defined. I’m not saying we hate our TF, but hate is closer to love than ambivalence is.
