So I got a work related email from my TF, other people were copied in too. He sounded cheerful which made me happy. Anyway I replied with my info and about 10 minutes later my heart chakra was tingling and that spread up to my throat chakra. And my lips too. My heart chakra has been active today anyway and the lip tingling too, constantly since last night. But the throat buzzing feeling following on was different. I am wondering if it’s some kind of message or instructions for me?
Bearing in mind although I am a spiritual person I have not really paid much attention to chakras (and other things like astrology) and know little about them. So a lot of what I read relating to TFs and especially astrology stuff goes over my head. Trying to learn more now.
The heart chakra is our center for love and compassion, and it’s almost always the main one that activates with this kind of connection. That tingling is just a sign of energy moving, like a current. From the heart up to the throat, is a classic flow. The heart is about feeling the love, the connection, the truth. The throat chakra is the next step up, it’s about expressing that truth. Like a bridge between your inner emotions and the outer world.
So feeling that sensation move from heart, to throat, to lips… It’s often a nudge toward communication. Learning to speak from a more grounded, heart-centered place. It might not be a big, complex “instruction,” but more your system just getting ready to find and use your own voice in a new way.

When you replied to that email, you activated the energetic channel between you two, and your body registered it about 10 minutes later once the energy fully moved through your system.
I’ve heard of lip tingling being a sign of their romantic feelings toward you but since you’re new to chakra work, just know that tingling and buzzing are positive signs - they mean energy is flowing correctly. Pain would indicate blockages, but what you’re describing sounds like healthy activation. Your body is just translating energetic communication into physical sensations you can consciously notice.
And, yes, you might want to start learning about the things beyond the physical.
The tingling spreading from one chakra to another is common with twin flame energy. When the connection activates strongly (which can happen from any form of contact or even just mutual thoughts), the energy often starts in the heart and moves upward through the higher chakras.
Each chakra that tingles tells you something about what’s happening energetically.
The continuous activation you mentioned experiencing since last night suggests there’s ongoing energetic communication happening in the background, probably intensifying during sleep when your conscious mind isn’t filtering things. Then any contact during waking hours - even something mundane - can amplify what’s already active in your system.
Chakra sensations can feel random at first, it’s your body’s way of giving you information about the energetic state of your connection. Tingling and buzzing generally mean positive energy flow. Warmth means amplified spiritual energy during deep connection moments. Pressure usually signals energy building up or blockages releasing. Your body becomes like a receiver and translator for twin flame energy.
Your heart chakra never lies about twin flame energy. If it’s tingling, there’s real energetic exchange happening. I get tingling in different chakras depending on what’s going on - heart for love, throat when we need to communicate, solar plexus when there’s nervous energy between us.
I get those chakra sensations too after contact with my TF. When my heart chakra activates and moves up to my throat, it usually means there’s something I need to say or express, especially after we’ve had an exchange. The tingling moving through your chakras like that could be your energy responding to his, even from just a work email. The throat activation might be pushing you to say something you’ve been holding back.
I don’t know, I just try to pay attention when my body reacts like that.
I’ve had something similar - the tingling just kept going for weeks after any contact with my TF. It scared me because I couldn’t control it, like my body was doing its own thing and I had no say in it.
The fact that it spread upward through multiple chakras is a good sign - energy is moving through your system, not stuck. When chakras tingle in sequence like that, it means your body is processing the twin flame energy and integrating it properly. Stuck energy would just be pain or pressure in one spot that doesn’t shift.
When we had our first eyelock I remember feeling waves of energy going into my heart/chest area. I wonder if he felt it too.
Re expressing the truth does that mean I should be talking to him about things? Not mentioning TFs but getting discussion flowing? Not sure when I’ll see him again. I remember doing a throat chakra meditation once I found out about twin flames because I that area felt closed off and I had a cough that wouldn’t leave. The next time I saw him we spoke briefly so it worked! I’ll have a read of the link on 5D. I’m doing a third eye meditation in the mornings to try and open it up. I was seeing undulating purple, blue and gold with some black moving things. I’m not sure if I’m meant to see actual objects there or not. Will keep at it.
I did have a slight bit of discomfort in my heart chakra earlier but it’s been otherwise tingling gently. Was getting tingling at the top of my thighs/down there(!) and in my temples too.
Hopefully I get better at understanding things soon. I’ve been feeling a bit blah today, missing him and talking to other people just feels like effort. Doesn’t help that it’s cold, grey and wet now but will try to stay positive and work on myself. Thanks!
The throat chakra tingling after replying to him could be your Higher Self nudging you that there’s something you need to express or communicate to your TF. When my throat activates like that right after an interaction, it’s usually because there’s something I haven’t said yet that I’m supposed to share with them.
That’s what I wonder but what to say? He’d said hope you had a nice weekend (complete with smiley face) on his email and I said the same back but it was a work email. I’ve sent him a couple of nice light messages before on chat and he responds but it’s not long conversations or anything. I wonder if my HS is wanting me to speak more to him or move away from small talk?
I’ve noticed those chakra surges happen when there’s been a shift in where you’re at mentally or emotionally. Even something small counts.
Instead of getting caught up in the physical sensations, try asking yourself what’s different now. Like, what are you open to hearing or accepting that you weren’t before? Usually once I figure that out, the energy calms down. You don’t even have to tell the other person about it.
That’s a good idea I’ll have a think next time it happens. It’s all quite new to me still.
Last night I was visiting a friend I’ve not seen since before all this happened. She’s got major main character syndrome lol and spends the entire time talking about herself, myself and our other friend get maybe 10 minutes to talk about our own life stuff. My tf’s hand was on my shoulder the entire time. Sometimes it’s a light touch but this time it was quite firm pressure like a hand against me and also some quick sensations in a circle like kisses. I had to keep shifting my position with it.
Didn’t get away until almost midnight and a song was playing on the radio that was so relevant to this journey that I laughed. Then I googled the lyrics when I got home and my third eye started buzzing. It’s really quite amazing.
I think your crown chakra might be opening from his energy.
When my heart and throat activated after being around my twin, my crown was trying to open too. But I kept running because I hadn’t worked through enough of my own stuff yet. Without having that foundation of self-love first, the intensity just felt like I was losing control of myself instead of actually choosing to let go.
I do have some sensation there now. I had my crown chakra open after a plant medicine ceremony years ago. I was back home in bed and suddenly I just felt this energy bursting and flowing out the top of my head. I think I was worried about malevolent forces getting in there while it was open, I felt quite vulnerable at the time but no idea if that’s an issue.
The other night I was lying in bed and I could feel vibrations going up my spine (neck area). The way I was lying under the duvet in the quiet bedroom I could actually hear sparks of energy moving against the duvet.
