Has anyone experienced the divine masculine acknowledging the connection first??
Well. Long before the term Twin Flame came into my realm of knowledge, my Twin use to call us soul mates. Even back from when we were 17. He was the one who always told me he felt this unexplainable connection to me, that I was the only one for him. Of course, back then, I didn’t take it all quite as seriously as I do now
Fast forward 22 years. He was actually the one who made me start noticing angel numbers, our “code numbers”, dates, songs etc that would appear around us. Essentially he was the one who made me aware of the synchronicities
Yes. I’m in a similar situation. I “locked on” my Twin Flame much much earlier than she could understand what the hell was going on (and I think she still doesn’t understand what is going on, at least mentally) and am still trying to figure out what to do. I think in the cases where the male awakens first the situation is more egregious than the vice versa. It just doesn’t work out that well.
Yes. During our first meeting after 20 years, he asked me: „Do you feel this too? This is so extremely intense …“ He had to interrupt our hug as the energy was so strong that he felt completely overwhelmed. He told me that he dreamed of me every night and felt me lying beside him.
He said this before I even started to realize what happened to us, still happily “bathing” in these feelings.
However, him being the first one to put this into words didn’t alter the fact that he ran and we are in separation. You can find my story in the “Twin Flame Stories” section, if you’d like to read it.
That sense of coming home when you’re together is stronger during certain moon phases, especially full moons. The energy between you intensifies in ways that are hard to put into words.
He felt it too.
You might both be stuck in the same loop, afraid that chasing crosses a line but worried that pulling back feels like giving up. It’s less about who moves first, more about finding a place where neither of you needs to chase or run at all.
Yes!!! Thats what happened with my DM. He was the first to realize 34 yrs ago and continues to be patient and rock solid in his convictions! ![]()

I’ve been wanting to do an update because things are evolving but my energy has been low, dealing with other things.
So I have a question.. once you decide to surrender to the connection and try to not worry about what the other person is doing.. and you’ve successfully done that.. does all the weird stuff go away? Like randomly getting emotional for no reason at all, the dreams, the warmth running through your heart and body, the feeling of almost being touched by them and the sexual sensations??
@MysticShore654 Ummm, in my experience…it got worse! So, So much worse!!! ![]()

Ohhh nooo! How am I going to be able to handle that?!
The healing has to come from them. They need to recognize the pattern and learn to actually say what they need instead of bolting the second things get real. That fear of being unlovable makes someone pull away right when they want connection most. It’s brutal.
And if you were chasing before and then stopped, they might read that as you not wanting them anymore. It creates this whole mess where you’re both avoiding each other without even realizing it’s happening. Classic runner-chaser loop, basically. I guess the real question is whether you two could ever get to a place where neither of you needs to chase or run in the first place.
Well given the circumstances we’re not even supposed to talk about it so I guess it had to be this way. We both technically did the right thing given the circumstances.
She’s not available and this whole thing is some kind of strange occurrence for both of us, I think.
So much of this comes back to the masculine wound. Generations of men taught that feeling deeply equals weakness. Mine acknowledged the connection almost immediately but then spent years dismantling himself over it because he didn’t have permission internally to want something that soft.
The answer to that question is a hard NO!
The intensity might drop a bit, but it never goes away completely.
I thought I had gotten to the point of disconnection so many times before, but the syncronicities and sensations never completely stop.
Even today, years after our separation, I still feel the aches and pains of her menstral cycle…![]()
Just here to back up what others have said… no. The “weird stuff” definitely doesn’t go away. I don’t think it ever can, because that’s what this type of connection is about - a spiritual, energetic bond that always connects the two of you. I hit true surrender coming up on eleven months ago (which is not to say it hasn’t still been hard and that I haven’t needed to renew that surrender every so often), and shortly after that our separation began. At that point, the telepathy between us ramped up and has continued to do so.
As of right now, I haven’t heard from him for over six weeks, which is the longest we’ve gone without communicating for two and a half years. I know he’s deep in his own healing right now (finally), but it still hurts not hearing a thing… and yet. He is in my energy field constantly at the moment. I am at a point of truly, wholly choosing myself for the first time on this journey… and despite that - or maybe because of it - our telepathic connection has been through the roof in the past month and a half. I’ve been feeling his emotions; talking to his Higher Self in meditations; having telepathic communication with his subconscious; sensing us together astrally almost every night; waking up with his presence beside me in the middle of the night; experiencing telepathic sex, touch, and sensuality with him; even one day a few weeks ago walking along not thinking about him at all only to be suddenly swamped by a bear hug from him out of nowhere. Signs have been nuts again recently too.
It seems like this pattern occurs quite often: when we do the 3D work of focusing on ourselves and surrendering to divine timing, the telepathic connection strengthens. Maybe it’s so we don’t lose sight of them while deep in our own growth. Maybe it’s our and our TF’s Higher Selves reminding us they’re already in partnership with each other and always have been. Maybe it’s just a natural effect of energy moving from one place (chasing/yearning/obsessing) to another (surrender and true connection on a spiritual level).
There are days when it’s hard. Days when the frustration of him recognising this with me in the 5D but not yet in the 3D drives me to a point of wanting off this ride altogether. But more often, for me, these energetic reminders are welcome. They remind me this is real; they remind me the work is happening behind the scenes as we both progress in our growth; they remind me he loves me despite material-world evidence to the contrary; they remind me he and I both signed up to this, and we’re living it together. They remind me of the incredible beauty of these connections. We get so hung up on the pain and challenge and brutal unfairness of it all (which are totally valid) that it’s easy to overlook how mindblowingly beautiful it is to be spiritually connected to another soul in such deep, powerful ways. That’s the part I try to focus on at this point in my journey. Nothing changes what he and I share; nothing will ever detract from that. And whatever happens between us in the 3D, I get to have a telepathic bond with one of the most beautiful human beings on the planet. I don’t think we appreciate that enough in these spaces.
If the DM acknowledges it first, that’s useful information, but pay attention to what comes after. Watch whether they only acknowledge it during emotional peaks or if they follow through with consistency and accountability.
My practical suggestion is to keep a simple notes log for 30 days. Note what they say, what they do, how your body feels afterward, and whether you drop your own routine because of it. Recognition is powerful, but actually living it out matters more.
I believe this probably does happen… but it is usually the DF going first.
Mine is on a different continent, and he acknowledged the connection before we had any realistic way to be together physically. The distance actually made it easier to take seriously in some ways. He started adjusting his sleep schedule, saving for travel, looking into visa stuff, all before he ever used any spiritual labels for it.
For long-distance twins, I’d watch whether the recognition turns into actual effort across time zones. Words are nice, but a 3 a.m. call before work says a lot too.
Feeling you in the long distance twins situation, @QuietStrength ![]()
@eunichick & @QuietStrength Long distance, out of country twin here too! It’s hard! I’m jealous of the twins who can accidentally run into each other. ![]()
