I’ve been wondering about something:
is there any way to tell, when I’m interacting energetically or telepathically with my twin, whether I’m connecting with their higher self or with their 3D self?
Both are possible, right?
Could it also be that, at certain times, you’re interacting exclusively with the higher self and only as your twin becomes more conscious or aware of the connection does the 3D person start to perceive it or engage with it as well?
And it works the other way around too, doesn’t it? My twin could also be interacting as 3D self with my higher self while my 3D self isn’t aware of it at all, right?
For a long time, probably for over a year, I believed that we were connected as our 3D selves.
But a few months ago, while we were energetically and telepathically connected, I had an experience where it felt like a voice said: “You are now consciously connected to the 3D person for the first time. Before, it was his Higher Self.”
Around the same time, I also had another experience where this voice told me: “You are now entering his dream,” instead of being connected while awake in a meditative state.

That voice you heard telling you it was now the 3D person - I believe that’s legit.
Twin flames are multidimensional beings. Your higher self (basically your soul) is eternal and conscious, always connected to your twin at that level. But your 3D self is down here on Earth, dealing with the physical world and all its stuff. The higher self of your twin knows exactly what you both are to each other, it exists in a place of oneness and unconditional love.
The 3D person is a different story. They may not be awakened to any of this yet (usually not for most of us), they might not understand the connection or even why they think about you constantly. They might not even be aware enough that that tugging feeling in their consciousness is you.
And yes, it works both ways. He could be connecting with your higher self while your 3D self is oblivious. Especially during sleep, your higher self does astral traveling and connects with theirs naturally. Dreams are often the first form of telepathy because your energetic body is free from conscious conditioning when you sleep.

When you’re communicating with their higher self, you usually feel that pure unconditional love, the oneness. It feels like peace, like truth. Their 5D self knows nothing except their love for you. But relating to them in 3D can feel completely different, sometimes (read: always) upsetting or confusing. Both are just as real and just as important. Different aspects of the whole union.
The physical 3D self of your twin isn’t as wise as their soul because we forget everything when we take a new birth. So their 3D self might make mistakes, might not have all the answers, while the soul sees everything from a higher perspective.
Sometimes you might feel your twin thinking about you, and also receive loving messages from them. One could be coming from their conscious mind, while the other is from their soul/higher self, which remains in love with you at all times. So that can get… confusing. The messages feel different but it takes time to feel that difference to see where it is coming from.
The more both twins awaken and grow spiritually, the more you naturally align with higher selves and divine will. Then eventually the 3D catches up.

The 3D connection feels completely different, closer to how it feels to communicate with a normal person in the physical.

My twin’s higher self shows so much more care and genuineness than his 3D self. The 3D version feels like a mask built from old wounds.
Omg I have no idea. This is all so confusing. I think I have figured something out then another layer of complexity is added.
This is such a useful discussion… I’ve been consciously connecting with my twin’s higher self/subconscious in meditations and astrally (I mainly have strong energy impressions of the latter rather than full memories, but I know it’s happening) for well over a year now. When I’ve mentioned this to him, he has no memory of it (or at least isn’t admitting anything), but when I’m communicating with him in that space it feels more intensely him than anywhere else.
It’s given me a lot of hope on this journey… once I stopped doubting whether these encounters were real, I was able to fully communicate and receive things from him, and his higher self has been telling and showing me he knows exactly what this connection is, and that we are indeed on the same page. His conscious self tells me one thing while his subconscious demonstrates precisely the opposite, with an assurance that his conscious self will get there. So when I’m having doubts about this journey, I can tune into that and know for certain it’s not just me feeling this stuff.
We do also connect psychically in the 3D, but it’s more recognitions that our energies are affecting each other, or physical symptoms and even situations that mirror each other’s. We both know these things are happening and have recognised them for a long time, but the deeper telepathy happens at a different level of consciousness, and right now it seems like I’m the only one of us aware of it.
