Funny that this topic popped up. I recently did a past life reading with my trusted psychic advisor and she gave me a breakdown of my past lives with my Twin. I did it more because I truly believe that we cannot know where we are going if we don’t know where we’ve come from. Not so much to know about the future, but understanding the past. It was incredibly insightful and we did not always end up in union, but to understand why and where our karmic debt came from and the lessons we have learnt through each lifetime was interesting. I think the thing I walked away from it was that despite the numerous impossible circumstances, we have found each other in more lifetimes than this one

Please, define what you mean by past life connection? If you are talking about the invisible cord connecting two souls together through space and time-that never breaks anywhere in this Universe. If you are talking about shared past lives’ experiences between these two souls they might have them, or might not have them. Yet, despite not having them the connection stays true nevertheless. You and your Twin cannot disconnect, at least not easily, even if you don’t have a single past life together. These past lives are only a bonus for those who have stayed faithful to the connection in the past, not a necessity to mark someone as your Twin Flame. Be more mindful with what you ask, please.
Yes. I don’t know exactly how many lives we had together, but the one I have the most recollection of is a Viking one. I was married to someone else and my twin looked after our horses. My husband went overseas, found someone else, and never came back. I felt low but it was never a great romance. I met my husband again online in this life as a karmic connection. He was pretty materialistic and cared too much about money and status. As then, so now. I think the woman he went to in that life is his current wife. They don’t have a particularly great marriage as she wears the trousers and he fits in. Karma in action.
My twin was the loyal one who stuck with my two children and I as a servant, but I struggled with not wanting to complicate his life by getting involved with him although I could tell he loved me and there was tension. He assumed I was dismissive because of his rank but I was never that person and was genuinely concerned that I would make things difficult for him. I think he also might have been married himself or had a woman who loved him.
It was not an easy situation that I think could have some echoes in our current predicament as coworkers with a friend of his who has stood between us, and the difficulty of deciding whether to communicate genuine feelings in a professional environment.

My twin shuts it all down. Past life stuff is just imagination, according to him. Doesn’t stop the dreams though.
We both woke up last week from the same one, standing on a cliff somewhere in this stormy northern sea, hands locked right before a wave hit. He admitted the dream but said it meant nothing. Of course.
That pull drags him back anyway, even when he fights it (and he fights it hard). I trace the fear in my gut back to that drop. Just breathe through it. Keeps me from chasing too hard.

I did a past life regression last year to explore this with my twin flame. Makes separations less scary, you’ve always found each other before.
But, on the other hand, you might uncover past hurts. The grief hits hard, even if it’s ancient and bad sessions can plant false memories that mess with healing.
Worth it overall, but stay grounded.

@The-target I don’t buy that one soul split in two sh*t and think Twin Flames are produced when Soul archetypes interact with each other as part of greater plans and complex scenarios about the development of the Universe (or this Creation if you prefer theological language) and I also don’t think they would show up as anything else than your romantic partner-that is the entire idea behind Twin Flames-they are here to uplift your Soul back to its Source-but I do agree you need to understand the past to see the future. I’m writing this comment just to clarify some things I think are misconceptions about Twin Flames-like that they are one Soul split in two or that they can be anything else than a romantic partner. I think all these ideas stem from misunderstanding the unraveling of Creation itself and that Twins play a huge role in preparing the stage for ascention not only of themselves, but of the entire human collective through showing what is possible if the energy of love and its associated vibrations prevail.
I think everyone has a Twin which they meet sooner or later and their encounters are a litmus for whether their Souls are ready to ascend or not. They are the “natural satellites for each other’s ascention” and this is why it requires them to be only in the roles of romantic partners. Anything else means someone up there has seriously messed up and there are serious perturbations in the design of world, but that is another topic and I digress. So, the past lives between Twins are like signs and direction pointers as to whether that particular soul is ready for its ultimate ascention and Destiny, or it has still too much karma to do on this plane of existence. They should be used for precisely that and nothing more. At least, that is what I think and I find to be most plausible.
Two years. I ran for two solid years after getting flooded with past-life bleed-through dreams about my twin. If you’re a runner reading this (suddenly getting hit with vivid dreams, déjà vu about places you’ve never been with this person), please don’t do what I did.
I convinced myself I was fabricating it. Blocked them everywhere, moved to a whole different state. The dreams got louder, not quieter. Your nervous system remembers them across lifetimes (which sounds dramatic, but I genuinely don’t know how else to explain what happens when you try to outrun this). The connection just follows you.
The sooner you sit still and let those memories surface without judgment, the sooner that overwhelming intensity starts to regulate on its own. You don’t have to act on anything. But stop fleeing from the information.

The vivid dreams, the knowing you can’t explain, when fragments of something that was once whole finally meet again. Souls are just completing a path most people can’t even perceive.
Uh, not that I know of, but if I get a nickel every time my name and my twin’s name are prominently mentioned in the same skill field or historical context, I’d have two nickels.
I would love to do an actual past life reading or regression with someone at some point. Because I have had two people tell me I shared at least one past life with my twin.
First was a trusted medium who I reached out to 2 weeks after meeting him. I couldn’t stop thinking about him and it was driving me crazy, so I had to find out what this connection was all about. She told me we had shared at least one past life and went through something “significant” together. But didn’t go into details.
Then several months later I was hanging out with a friend. He’s not a practicing medium, and I didn’t know at the time that he had some abilities. But I was telling him about meeting my twin and he said as soon as I said “I met a guy” he got a past life flash. He saw us in 1930s/40s clothing, him in a suit, me in a hat. He found an image of the hat he saw - a felt cloche styled hat. And no joke, I actually have one that looks almost identical to the one he showed me. But he told me that we were definitely romantic. He also said he’s never gotten a past life flash like that before.
I decided to do a past life tarot spread on myself and it was super interesting. Basically we were “almost, but not quite.” I hesitated too long, and he had to leave because of duty or obligation (possibly a job or war). And our purpose in this life is to make different choices.
One thing I found really interesting is my role in our past life was “The Magician”. More recently I did a spread where I had asked about his role in his previous relationships in this life, and it was “The Magician”.

I think so. We have memories together not from this life.
Yes! Before I knew anything about him, I kept hearing an old-fashioned name in meditation, plus visions of ink-stained hands and a brass signet ring. Months later, he mentioned his great-grandfather’s ring (exact same crest) and his childhood calligraphy obsession. No way I could’ve known.
During arguments, the same flash hit every time: me walking away from a dock with a suitcase, grief way too intense for now. That shook me most, it felt like unresolved baggage.
The scars came first. We have these matching faded marks on our left palms, rope burns or something like them, from what feels like some old escape we both carry but never chose.
