Funny that this topic popped up. I recently did a past life reading with my trusted psychic advisor and she gave me a breakdown of my past lives with my Twin. I did it more because I truly believe that we cannot know where we are going if we don’t know where we’ve come from. Not so much to know about the future, but understanding the past. It was incredibly insightful and we did not always end up in union, but to understand why and where our karmic debt came from and the lessons we have learnt through each lifetime was interesting. I think the thing I walked away from it was that despite the numerous impossible circumstances, we have found each other in more lifetimes than this one

Please, define what you mean by past life connection? If you are talking about the invisible cord connecting two souls together through space and time-that never breaks anywhere in this Universe. If you are talking about shared past lives’ experiences between these two souls they might have them, or might not have them. Yet, despite not having them the connection stays true nevertheless. You and your Twin cannot disconnect, at least not easily, even if you don’t have a single past life together. These past lives are only a bonus for those who have stayed faithful to the connection in the past, not a necessity to mark someone as your Twin Flame. Be more mindful with what you ask, please.

Yes. I don’t know exactly how many lives we had together, but the one I have the most recollection of is a Viking one. I was married to someone else and my twin looked after our horses. My husband went overseas, found someone else, and never came back. I felt low but it was never a great romance. I met my husband again online in this life as a karmic connection. He was pretty materialistic and cared too much about money and status. As then, so now. I think the woman he went to in that life is his current wife. They don’t have a particularly great marriage as she wears the trousers and he fits in. Karma in action.

My twin was the loyal one who stuck with my two children and I as a servant, but I struggled with not wanting to complicate his life by getting involved with him although I could tell he loved me and there was tension. He assumed I was dismissive because of his rank but I was never that person and was genuinely concerned that I would make things difficult for him. I think he also might have been married himself or had a woman who loved him.

It was not an easy situation that I think could have some echoes in our current predicament as coworkers with a friend of his who has stood between us, and the difficulty of deciding whether to communicate genuine feelings in a professional environment.

Yeah, 100%.

Twin flames are split from the same soul, born from a Monad, one energy unit into two. They live separate lifetimes, gathering experiences and karma. Older teachings say they only incarnate together at the end of the cycle, after finishing soulmate contracts and clearing debts, to ascend.

I think the best place to start looking into your past lives is the Akashic records:

What tripped me up forever: your twin isn’t always a romantic partner. Regressions show them as childhood friends, siblings, even rivals. One case had four lives, the twin in every one, but different roles: friends separated, siblings clashing. Roles shift, core recognition doesn’t.

That instant pull, heart palpitations, warm buzz is energy built over lifetimes. Your soul remembers something ancient. The hard stuff, like push/pull and runner/chaser, often ties to past karma surfacing for healing. Seeing it that way helps. Easier said than done in the thick of it.

Short answer: yes. I believe it goes deeper than people know when they are so focused on the 3D side of the connection.

Looking into the Akashic Records helped me understand my own twin flame connection. It’s like a cosmic library of your soul’s history, every choice, karma, relationships across lifetimes. For twin flames, it reveals your shared past and any unresolved stuff bleeding into now (usually a lot). Energy-sensitive ones feel it strongest, holding cellular memories of past pain as subconscious reminders. Those create invisible blocks.

Sometimes you feel drawn to a place or country for no reason. That’s often past life trauma or events tied to your twin. Worth exploring.

Déjà vu can give you some insight as well. Feeling like you’ve been somewhere or done something together before. Add telepathy, finishing thoughts, sensing emotions from across the world. These are classic past-life signs. Dig in, and the current dynamic just clicks. So much confusion has roots way back.

This is a huge topic for me. Understanding the past life connection got me through some really tough phases with my twin.

Karma here (from the Sanskrit “karam,” meaning action) is about soul lessons scripted for this lifetime. Unresolved stuff from past lives shows up as repeating patterns like emotional cycles, intense push/pull, or fears that don’t tie to this life. It’s not random.

The runner/chaser dynamic often stems from past karma, like loss or betrayal. It surfaces and forces you both to heal on the path to union.

Past life regression helped me a ton. Through guided meditation or hypnosis, you access those memories and see how they affect your current connection. Many discover shared past lives with their twins in different eras, confirming the bond and its purpose. It brings real clarity.

Your twin might not be as aware of this, which is totally normal. Your healing still impacts the connection.

It’s not just romantic. Maybe we’ve loved tons of souls across different lives, and those connections show up now as friends, family, even coworkers.

People don’t talk about that enough.

My twin shuts it all down. Past life stuff is just imagination, according to him. Doesn’t stop the dreams though.

We both woke up last week from the same one, standing on a cliff somewhere in this stormy northern sea, hands locked right before a wave hit. He admitted the dream but said it meant nothing. Of course.

That pull drags him back anyway, even when he fights it (and he fights it hard). I trace the fear in my gut back to that drop. Just breathe through it. Keeps me from chasing too hard.
