The term “twin flame” is having a moment in social media, which messes with people’s understanding and use of the term. I posted this a few days back, but the idea of twin flames goes further back than the term.
Whether it is “real” or not… nobody here can tell you for sure. At least nobody should be telling you for sure. We can speak from our experience and from the experiences of those we know.
From what I’ve seen and experienced, a lot of the things do line up. I do believe in the concept of twin flames.
That said, I don’t believe in everything that gets talked about. I believe some experiences might vary, but I don’t believe you have more than one twin flame or that it justifies cheating, for example.
Opinions differ. Views vary. I do think that the core idea is real because too many of us have had similar experiences, and I have seen it firsthand. My life with my twin now… a “normal” relationship could never have even compared.
